GAP Ocean Terminal helps St Columba's get fashionable!
Friday, 23 September 2011
Savvy shoppers are in for a treat this Sunday 25th September, as GAP Ocean Terminal kicks off a special three week clothing drive in aid of St Columba's Hospice.
Shoppers that bring in good quality second hand clothes, accessories and bric-a-brac can swap them for a 10% discount on anything in store. The stock will be used to fill the shelves of the St Columba's shop on Leith Walk, which raises funds to help the Hospice provide palliative care and support for thousands of patients and families each year. The clothing drive will run until Sunday 15th October.
Lesley Christie, Director of Fundraising for St Columba's Hospice said:
"We're delighted that GAP Ocean Terminal has chosen to support St Columba's Hospice by holding a clothing drive. It's a great chance to clear out your wardrobe, take advantage of a discount in store and support St Columba's Hospice all at the same time. Our charity shops are always in need of stock to fill the shelves and are great places to treasure hunt for vintage finds and hidden gems. So pop down and have a look at one of our five charity shops today in Leith Walk, Morningside, the West End, Stockbridge and Fauldhouse."
