About the Celtic Challenge

Over five days, you will cycle over 200 miles from Edinburgh to the Isle of Iona, passing through some of the most stunning and unspoilt landscapes in the UK. All accommodation, meals, snacks, ferry journeys, support vehicles and guides are included.
The journey
Starting from St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh, you will cycle to Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Loch Awe, Tarbet and the Isle of Mull, from where you will make the final leg of the journey by ferry to the Isle of Iona - one of the most significant areas of Scotland's history.
You will cycle past beautiful lochs, ancient ruins and kirks, quaint villages and unspoilt wilderness and enjoy an experience you'll never forget.

To take part in the Celtic Challenge, we ask you to pay a registration fee of £150 and to pledge to raise a minimum of £1,200 in sponsorship for St Columba's Hospice. Your registration will cover:
- Four nights accommodation
- All meals, energy snacks and drinks
- Ferry journey from Oban to Mull to Iona and back
- Tour guides and support vehicles
- Training guide and support pack
- Support from the fundraising team
