After reading about our Buy a Brick Appeal in the Edinburgh Evening News, the team at McRobb - a leading signage company - decided to get in touch to find out how they could help.

The timing couldn't have been better, because St Columba's Hospice was just about to open a new bookshop at Goldenacre, and needed signage to attract passing shoppers to step inside. Neil McRobb, the company's Managing Director, very generously offered to supply St Columba's Hospice with signage for the shop for free, and the result has been incredible.

"I wanted to get my company involved after seeing the good work that the Hospice did and witnessing the care and compassion shown not only to the patients but to their loved ones," says Neil.

"Even then I had no idea about all their other activities including the excellent Education Centre until a later visit to the Hospice. The staff and volunteers all work so enthusiastically to help patients to manage their illness in a safe and supportive environment.

"There was an opportunity for McRobb Display to demonstrate our commitment by taking the Hospice's brief and designing, manufacturing and installing signage and graphics for their new Bookshop at Goldenacre.

"We were in the fortunate position to offer our assistance and services to a very worthwhile cause and I wanted to help contribute to the success of the fundraising. We are looking forward to continuing to lend our support on an on-going basis."

St Columba's Hospice is incredibly grateful to Neil and the team at McRobb for supporting us in this way and can't thank them enough for their help and generosity.
