Brooks Brothers
Brooks Brothers on George Street Edinburgh is a valued ongoing supporter of St Columba’s Hospice. The producer of classic business and casual clothing has hosted some special nights for the hospice in its store and has come up with a stylish new product to help raise money towards the Hospice rebuild project.
In September 2009 Brooks Brothers hosted an exclusive shopping and fundraising evening in aid of St Columba's Hospice. Guests had the opportunity to shop at their leisure while enjoying a glass of wine and most importantly supporting the St Columba's Hospice Blue Dove Campaign.
Guests received a 20% discount on all purchases made on the evening with a further 10% going to St Columba's Hospice. A raffle with the top prize of a £800 voucher for the store was a huge hit on the night.
Some excellent live music from Flow, the acclaimed traditional folk duo, added to the relaxed and warm atmosphere on the night.
Such was the success of the event customers of Brooks Brothers requested another night to support the Hospice. In September 2010 the store hosted another evening and took the opportunity to launch some exclusive limited edition handkerchiefs with the St Columba's Hospice logo to help raise additional funds towards the St Columba's Hospice rebuild. The Tom Finlay Jazz Trio provided the entertainment on another successful evening.
The limited edition handkerchiefs have been a great success and are still available in the George Street store.
Peter Heggie, Manager of Brooks Brothers said "Brooks Brothers is a proud sponsor of an Edinburgh institution that offers ongoing care and education to our community"
